Prison Escape.io is a free multiplayer escape game you can play in your browser right now, no download or account needed. You and other players race to outsmart guards, clear traps, and break out across a set of wild game modes. It works at school or work too, since it runs fully in the browser. Whether you team up or go solo, every round is different.
What is Prison Escape.io?
Prison Escape.io is a .io-style multiplayer game built around escaping increasingly tricky scenarios. The core loop is simple: run, jump, dodge, and reach the exit before the other players do. Guards, collapsing floors, moving trains, and faulty glass panels are all standing in your way.
Along the way you collect coins, grab power-ups, and unlock outfits for your character. The game pulls from several popular party-game formats and mixes them into one escape-themed package.

Game modes
Each mode has its own rules and layout. All four active modes are available from the start.
| Mode | How it works |
|---|---|
| Prison Break | Escape the main prison complex, alone or with your team, without getting caught. |
| Glass Bridge | Step across a bridge of glass panels. One wrong step and you fall through. |
| HexaGone | Platforms disappear after you stand on them. Last player standing wins. |
| RailWay | Jump between moving trains and dodge obstacles to reach the finish line. |
| Obby Rainbow | Coming soon. A colorful obstacle tower you climb solo or with friends. |
Power-ups, coins, and unlocks
Coins appear in every level. Collecting them lets you unlock new character outfits. Power-ups drop during rounds and give short-term advantages: a speed boost helps you pull ahead in tight corridors, and a shield absorbs hits or falls for a few seconds.
Daily rewards add free coins each time you return, so there is always something new to open without spending anything.
Tips for surviving each mode
- In Prison Break, watch guard patrol patterns for a few seconds before moving. They repeat.
- On Glass Bridge, let one player go first if you are in a group. Follow the safe path, not the risky guess.
- In HexaGone, keep moving. Standing still removes your options fast. Move in a wide circle.
- On RailWay, time your jumps early. The trains close gaps faster than they look.
- Use speed boosts right before a jump to cover extra distance, not in the middle of a platform puzzle.
